Simple Energy has unveiled the Simple Dot One, its latest electric two-wheeler, with a starting price of Rs 1,39,999 (ex-showroom Bangalore).  Simple Energy’s second offering, following the Simple One, intends to increase the accessibility of electric vehicle ownership across a wide demographic in the country.

The Dot One will be available for pre-order on January 27th. Existing customers who want to convert from Simple One to Dot One at the same price will be given priority booking starting January 1, 2024.

The Dot One promises a certified range of 151 km and is a complete Made-In-India product. The Dot One is offered in a single variant with four color options: Namma Red, Brazen Black, Grace White, and Azure Blue. It comes with a 750W charger and offers LightX and BrazenX color options. Equipped with a 3.7 kWh battery capacity and an 8.5 kW electric motor and delivering a peak torque output of 72 Nm, the Dot One accelerates from 0 to 40 kmph in 2.77 seconds.

CBS, efficient disc brakes, and an expansive 35-liter under-seat storage contribute to the safety and practicality of the scooter. Furthermore, the Dot One features a user-friendly touchscreen instrument cluster with diverse functionality and seamless app connectivity for an enhanced riding experience.

Deliveries for the Dot One will commence in Bangalore initially and gradually expand to other cities in a phased manner. With its focus on performance, range, and affordability, Simple Energy aims to further accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in India’s rapidly evolving mobility landscape.
