Servotech Power Systems has announced its foray into the cricket game. It has acquired a cricket team that will participate in the Bengal Pro T20 League, which will be run by the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB).  The corporation has made a huge move by becoming one of the franchise team owners in the much-awaited Bengal Pro T20 League, which is scheduled to begin in early June 2024, just after the Indian Premier League.

This calculated action represents a significant turning point for Servotech Power Systems and a daring step in the direction of development and diversification. Through the purchase of the cricket team, Servotech has entered the exciting world of professional sports, perfectly aligning with its mission of expansion, innovation, and building strong partnerships for the benefit of Bengal cricket. By going into the sports industry, Servotech hopes to take advantage of cricket’s enormous appeal and widespread appeal to build its brand and reach a larger audience.

With this strategic alignment, Servotech has a fantastic potential to develop and participate in new markets and expand its reach beyond the confines of its sector. Servotech hopes that this project will help them become a major force in sports as well as a leader in the EV charging and solar energy industries.

On this development, Rishabh Bhatia, Spokesperson, Servotech Power Systems said, “Cricket, a sport deeply ingrained in the hearts of Indians, has always been a symbol of unity, bringing together people from diverse backgrounds into a tapestry of growth and togetherness. This sentiment resonates uniquely within Bengal’s rich cultural fabric. Servotech Power Systems views its entry into the world of cricket through the Bengal Pro T20 League as an opportunity to nurture indigenous talent while also aligning with its ethos of developing a healthy sporting culture and energizing young talent. The company is excited to see the potential it holds and foster a sense of achievement among the youth of Bengal. This marks a momentous occasion for us and we are eager to bring our values of teamwork, dedication, and pushing boundaries onto the cricket field, injecting fresh energy into the sport. This is the start of an exciting new chapter, and we’re ready to bat alongside you all.”
