Royal Enfield created a major buzz at Motoverse 2025 in Goa by unveiling the Flying Flea S6, its latest electric scrambler and the second model under the brand’s dedicated EV sub-brand, Flying Flea. Following the C6 commuter EV, the new FF.S6 marks Royal Enfield’s most advanced electric motorcycle yet, blending heritage design with next-generation performance and connectivity.

Design Inspired by Heritage, Built for the Future

The Flying Flea S6 draws inspiration from the iconic lightweight Flying Flea motorcycles used during WWII while delivering a modern electric mobility experience. The motorcycle features:

      • Urban+Explorer scrambler design

      • USD front forks

      • Chain final drive

      • Staggered spoke wheels (19-inch front, 18-inch rear)

      • Enduro-style long seat for improved comfort

      • True round touchscreen display, paying tribute to the original Flying Flea

A standout design element is the finned magnesium battery case, engineered for optimal cooling and weight distribution. Flying Flea describes this as a symbolic fusion of heritage (rear fins) and innovation (front fins), forming a central wing-like motif that captures the brand’s spirit.

      Trailblazing Technology at the Core

Royal Enfield’s new scrambler goes beyond design—offering cutting-edge technology developed across India and the UK at the Flying Flea Tech Center. The FF.S6 integrates advanced hardware and software systems to deliver premium riding performance:

      • Dedicated Off-Road Mode

      • Lean-angle sensing ABS (defeatable by disabling dual-channel ABS)

      • Traction control system

      • Integrated navigation

      • Advanced electric motor with high torque output

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon QWM2290 processor, the motorcycle runs an in-house operating system offering:

      • 4G connectivity

      • Bluetooth & Wi-Fi support

      • Real-time vehicle analytics

      • Interactive round TFT instrument cluster

A Voice Assist button enhances safety by enabling hands-free navigation, music control, and system commands—accessed via the rider’s smartphone.

      Advanced Control Systems and Electronics

The electric scrambler is equipped with:

      • NXP microcontrollers for high-speed data processing & secure communication

      • Dynamic energy management to optimize performance based on riding conditions

      • Proprietary Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) enabling thousands of adaptive ride-mode combinations

This integration ensures a seamless, intelligent riding experience that evolves with rider input.

Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6 — Expected Specifications

      • Wheel Setup: 19-inch front / 18-inch rear

      • Battery Case: Magnesium finned structure for cooling and lightweight balance

      • Connectivity: 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth

      • Instrument Cluster: True round TFT touchscreen

      • Riding Modes: Multiple including Off-Road Mode

      • Safety: Lean-sensitive ABS, dual-channel (switchable), traction control

      • Motor: High-torque electric motor (official figures expected at launch)

      • Launch Timeline: Expected late 2026

Royal Enfield Signals Stronger Push Into Electric Mobility

The Flying Flea S6 is more than a motorcycle—it symbolises Royal Enfield’s bold EV transition, combining retro DNA with modern engineering. With the introduction of the S6, Royal Enfield is positioning itself to take on the rapidly growing premium electric two-wheeler segment while staying true to its legacy of simple, resilient motorcycles.
