Bengaluru-based electric scooter startup River EV has inaugurated its first company-owned store in Delhi, located in the Rajouri Garden area. The 6,300 sq. ft. flagship outlet marks a significant milestone in River EV’s expansion into North India and demonstrates the company’s commitment to strengthening its retail and service presence across the country.

Showcasing the Indie Gen 3 Electric Scooter

The new Delhi store prominently features River EV’s latest model, the Indie Gen 3. This electric scooter comes with several upgrades, including:

      • Enhanced riding dynamics

      • Upgraded tyres and suspension

      • Redesigned digital display

      • Hill-hold assist for safer rides

      • Advanced app integration providing real-time ride and charging information

These features position the Indie Gen 3 as a competitive choice for urban commuters seeking efficient, eco-friendly transportation.

      Strategic Expansion Plans

With the opening of the Delhi store, River EV now operates 34 outlets across India. The company has ambitious plans to expand to 80 stores nationwide by March 2026, focusing on key states such as Punjab, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Gujarat.

Aravind Mani, CEO of River EV, stated:

“Delhi marks an important milestone in River’s journey beyond the South. This store reflects our commitment to service, training, and community engagement.”

      Vipin George, CPO, added:

“Our Rajouri Garden store is more than retail—it’s a hub for riders to explore and engage with our brand.”

      Growth and Market Presence

Earlier this year, River EV crossed a significant milestone by selling over 1,800 units, reflecting growing adoption of electric scooters in India. The company’s expansion strategy combines retail outlets, customer service, and community engagement, making EV ownership accessible and convenient for new riders.

      Driving India’s Electric Mobility

River EV’s Delhi launch is a strategic step in establishing a pan-India footprint, supporting India’s push toward sustainable urban mobility. By combining innovative products like the Indie Gen 3 with an expanding retail network, River EV aims to strengthen its position as a leading electric scooter brand in the country.
