Quantum Energy Limited, a fast-growing electric two-wheeler manufacturer announced its strategic collaboration with EMO Energy, an advanced battery and energy systems company, to launch the Quantum Brines EMO – a purpose-built electric scooter engineered for high-duty last-mile and fleet operations in India. The new vehicle combines Quantum Energy’s vehicle engineering with EMO Energy’s globally patented liquid-cooled battery technology, delivering a reliable, scalable, and cost-efficient mobility solution tailored for India’s demanding delivery ecosystem.

Sheetanshu Tyagi, Co-founder and CEO of EMO energy said “Scaling last-mile mobility in India requires vehicles and energy systems to be designed together for high utilization and real-world operating conditions. With Quantum Energy, we’ve combined a purpose-built scooter with an energy platform engineered for scalability, predictable performance over years, and low total cost of ownership. The Quantum Bziness EMO showcases the impact of combining strong vehicle engineering with advanced battery technology to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions for India’s delivery ecosystem “

Engineered for Performance, Reliability, and Scale At the core of the Quantum Bziness EMO is EMO Energy’s 2 kWh ZenPac battery, offering a real-world range of up to 80 km* and a top speed of 50 kmph*. Designed for high utilization, the battery supports fast charging in just 20 minutes* using EMO’s Swift fast charger.

Backed by 150+ million kilometers of real-world operation, ZenPac has demonstrated stable SOC–OCV behaviour and predictable ageing, with approximately 1.2% degradation at 300 cycles and under 2% beyond 400+ cycles. This performance is enabled by EMO Energy’s globally patented active immersion cooling, advanced energy management systems, and active balancing BMS, supported by 25 global patents filed. With 1,300+ Fast chargers across 12+ cities, EMO Energy’s battery and Swft fast charging ecosystem creates a frictionless experience for riders and fleet operators, significantly improving uptime and operational efficiency.

Electric mobility in India is entering its next phase where speed, convenience, and reliability are as critical as sustainability,” said Mr. Chakravarthi C, Managing Director, Quantum Energy Limited. “Our collaboration with EMO Energy strengthens the fast-charging ecosystem, enabling quicker turnaround times, higher vehicle uptime, and greater confidence for both commercial fleet operators and individual riders adopting electric two-wheelers.

Built for India’s Last-Mile Economy: The Quantum Bziness EMO is designed to meet the rigours of last-mile delivery, offering a payload capacity of up to 200 kg*. Powered by a 2,500 W (peak) hub motor, the scooter features 12-inch wheels and a CBS breaking system, ensuring stability, safety, and durability across urban and semi-urban conditions. Quantum Energy currently operates 100+ touch points nationwide, strengthening service accessibility and after-sales support for both individual and fleet customers.

Manufacturing Expansion to Support Growth As part of its long-term growth strategy, Quantum Energy has commenced operations at its new greenfield manufacturing facility in Maheshwaram, spread across 6 acres. The expansion will be executed in two phases. Phase 1 involves developing 55,000 sq. ft. of built-up area by March 2026, enabling a production capacity of 10,000 units per month. Phase 2 will scale the facility to 1,50,000 sq. ft. by mid-2026, with production capacity ramping up to 20,000 units per month by mid-2027. Together, this expansion underlines Quantum Energy’s commitment to strengthening domestic manufacturing and supporting India’s rapidly growing EV ecosystem.

Powering the Future of Last-Mile Mobility Through this collaboration, EMO Energy is advancing its vision of building India’s largest vertically integrated energy ecosystem, enabling an efficient flow of energy from source to wheels. Together, Quantum Energy and EMO Energy aim to deploy 10,000 scooters in the next 12 months, making last-mile delivery more scalable, cost-effective, and reliable, while accelerating India’s transition to clean mobility.
