Lectrix EV, SAR Group’s e-mobility branch, has named Pritesh Talwar as its new President of EV Business. He will oversee the strategic direction and ongoing expansion activities. He will collaborate closely with the team to promote innovation, foster excellence, and provide value to our customers and stakeholders.

According to the firm, Talwar has over two decades of expertise and a proven track record of producing growth, as well as excellent strategic thinking and operational aptitude. He has led huge cross-functional teams and managed enterprises worth more than $100 million (Rs 833 crore), including blue-chip corporations and family-owned firms. During his tenure as CEO of Livpure, he pioneered a new category of Water-as-Service and established a multimillion-dollar subscription business.

Talwar is a C-Suite level professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across both emerging and developed markets. He has extensive knowledge of the FMCG, F&B, and consumer durables sectors.

The subsidiary was established in 2020 by the SAR Group with an initial investment of Rs 300 crore to establish a state-of-the-art production facility with an annual capacity of 1.5 lakh units. The company says Talwar’s leadership comes at a pivotal moment as Lectrix EV continues its mission to redefine urban mobility and de-risk EV adoption for consumers across India.

His strategic acumen and operational expertise the company says will be instrumental in driving Lectrix EV’s ambitious expansion plans, including the establishment of 300 dealerships by the end-2024. Additionally, under Talwar’s stewardship, Lectrix EV aims to continue to prioritise aftersales service excellence, offering customers a seamless ownership experience and unparalleled support.
