In an important step towards fulfilling India’s clean mobility goals, PMI Electro Mobility Solutions is going to set up an advanced electric vehicle manufacturing arena at Ghiloth industrial area, Neemrana tehsil, Rajasthan. The investment is worth ₹1,200 crore and will be developed on 65.56 acres of land along the Delhi–Jaipur national highway, to make Rajasthan a key stakeholder in the nation’s electric vehicle ecosystem.
The project is part of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed during the Rising Rajasthan Global Investor Summit in December 2024. This investment is one of the biggest in the EV sector in Rajasthan and will not only assemble electric buses, but also manufacture bodies of the buses, electric motors, batteries, wire harnesses, among other EV components.
The Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) has already allocated the land for the project, which will have a proposed annual production capacity of 33,000 units. During a meeting with Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the PMI delegation — including MD Satish Kumar Jain, CEO Anchal Jain, Executive Director Gajendra Yadav, and Plant Head Harish Yadav — discussed the company’s vision for sustainable industrial growth and local employment.
Chief Minister Sharma lauded the initiative, emphasizing that the plant would “create numerous direct and indirect employment opportunities for the youth” while advancing training in the emerging field of electromobility.
The facility is expected to accelerate green industrialisation, reduce environmental pollution, and strengthen sustainable urban development across Rajasthan. By promoting renewable energy integration and localized manufacturing, the Ghiloth project will play a pivotal role in making affordable e-buses available across India — reinforcing Rajasthan’s position as a growing hub for electric vehicle manufacturing in the country.
