During the current fiscal year 2024–2025, Kissan Mobility Pvt. Ltd. (OnEv) expects to roll out an additional 500 EV L5 3-wheelers and 100 EV passenger 4-wheelers. Within two years, the company hopes to scale up to 2000 EVs. This statement is made in conjunction with the company’s celebration of its first year of existence.

In addition to launching these vehicles in Chandigarh and the Delhi-NCR, OnEv’s anniversary programme calls for expanding its operations to tier-II cities, villages, and rural areas in Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh.

With just three EV L5 cars when it first began operating in Delhi-NCR in 2023, OnEv has grown to 300 vehicles in just one year, servicing both Punjab and Delhi-NCR. OnEv has made a substantial difference in the lives of its driver partners by working with EV Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) including OSM, Piaggio, Euler, Greaves, Graveol, and Tata Ace for vehicle procurement and leasing partners for vehicle purchasing.

Reflecting on the company’s first-year milestones and the introduction of new vehicles, Kamlesh Kaushik, Founder & CEO of OnEv, expressed, “After a successful first year of operations, we are now aggressively expanding our innovative product offerings and market presence over the next 2-3 years. With the increasing demand for electric vehicles driven by environmental sustainability, affordability, and supportive government policies, there remains significant potential for EV adoption in rural areas and villages, where penetration by EV players is still limited. We aim to fortify and expand our presence in the rural areas and villages of key North Indian states like Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh, to cater to their transportation needs through our diverse range of electric vehicles, including innovative EV-based agricultural solutions to assist farmers across the country.”

Discussing future plans, Kaushik added, “We are actively seeking collaborations with EV OEMs, EV battery OEMs, service providers, and financial institutions to capitalize on the EV mobility shift. We are dedicated to expanding the electric mobility revolution to the remote and rural areas of the country within the current fiscal year.”
