Under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, Omega Seiki Mobility (OSM) has partnered with Naari Shakti Women Welfare Charitable Trust to provide 2,500 electric Pink Auto Rickshaws to women drivers across India.

The project is intended to promote women’s participation in the mobility sector and is priced at ₹2,59,999 (on-road, Delhi) with a 1% interest rate. OSM projects that the operational cost of these vehicles will be one-fourth of that of conventional CNG auto-rickshaws. Fitted with safety and convenience features, the Pink Autos will enhance last-mile connectivity while providing women with income opportunities.

he mission of the program is to enable women to gain financial independence, especially in metropolitan and semi-urban regions. Further, it reflects the gender inclusivity themes prioritized under India’s G20 Presidency and is aligned with national efforts such as Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

OSM has assured to provide the deployed cars with round-the-clock service support for the users. A chatbot AI-powered will assist users with real-time information, maintenance issues, and scheduling of services. For additional security, the vehicles will also be fitted with GPS and panic alarm devices.

Delhi NCR will be initiated with the deployment phase, followed by Bangalore, North Karnataka, and Chennai. To assist in ensuring long-term operational viability, a group of female drivers will also be provided with financial literacy training and support.
