Extending its footprint across India, Ola Electric has claimed that it will be launching 500 experience centers in India by March 2023.

experience centers This is part of its efforts to be closer to customers.

The company currently operates 200 experience centers across the country and plans to introduce an electric bike. Ola’s experience centers allow customers to explore, buy and service its vehicles.

In a virtual address, Bhavish Aggarwal, founder, and CEO, Ola Electric stated that 80% of Ola’s customers live within 20 kilometers of Ola’s experience centers. He also said that 500 new Ola centers will be opened by March 2023 to make it as convenient as possible for them.

Ola Electric has introduced a lower version of its electric scooter model S1 for Rs 99,999. It also announced a complete line-up for its S1 Air model, with three battery capacities, starting at Rs 84,999.

Aggarwal stated that the company will introduce a lower-end variant of its S1 scooter model based on customer feedback. It has a battery capacity 2kWh, a range of 91km, and a top speed 90 km per hour (kmph).

Aggarwal stated that S1 Air deliveries had to be extended by 3 months to accommodate three new variants.

Customers who booked the 2.5 kWh version that was revealed last year will be eligible for a free upgrade to the 3-kWh option.

Ola Electric gave a glimpse into its future electric bike, but Aggarwal didn’t share any details.
