Introducing eight new electric scooters in a range of price points, Ola Electric announced its third-generation S1 portfolio. These products, which range in price from ₹79,999 to ₹1,69,999, represent a strategic extension of the company’s product lineup.

Ola’s technological advancements are demonstrated by the new flagship model, S1 Pro+, which has a 5.3kWh capacity and uses the cutting-edge 4680 Bharat Cell technology. This high-end product has remarkable performance parameters, such as an industry-leading 320-kilometer range and a top speed of 141 kmph. In order to make the premium class more accessible, a 4kWh version is also offered.

A mid-drive motor and chain drive system with an integrated Motor Control Unit are among the engineering advances brought about by the Gen 3 platform. In comparison to the previous generation, these advancements have led to an 11% decrease in prices and a 20% increase in peak power and range.

Ola has launched the S1 X series in the mass-market segment, with the S1 X (2kWh) retailing for ₹79,999. To accommodate a range of customer demands and budgets, the company has carefully positioned several models with varying battery capacity. At ₹1,07,999, the S1 X+, which offers more features and performance, is the most expensive device in this range.

The new lineup places a strong emphasis on safety advancements. Ola has introduced a proprietary brake-by-wire technology and the first dual ABS system for electric scooters in the industry. By cleverly balancing mechanical and regenerative braking, this technology increases riding safety and improves energy recovery by 15%.
