Ola Electric, India’s largest pure-play EV manufacturer, has achieved a historic milestone by rolling out its one millionth vehicle from the Futurefactory in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. The company becomes the first Indian EV brand to reach this landmark since commencing production in 2021.
To commemorate the achievement, Ola Electric unveiled a special edition Roadster X+ in a striking midnight blue with sporty red accents across the dual-tone seat, rims, and battery pack. The edition also features badges crafted from recycled copper waste and electroplated bar ends, reflecting the company’s emphasis on sustainability and recyclability in design.
“This milestone is a celebration of every Indian who trusted us and believed in our mission,” said a company spokesperson. “In just four years, we’ve gone from an idea to becoming India’s EV two-wheeler leader. We’ve built at scale, designed and engineered world-class products in India, and proven that the future of mobility can be sustainable. Our mission is clear: #EndICEAge and make India a global EV hub.”
Ola Electric’s rapid growth has been fuelled by strong demand for its S1 electric scooter portfolio and the recently launched Roadster X electric motorcycles.
At its annual Sankalp event, the company also introduced its 4680 Bharat Cell-integrated vehicles, including the S1 Pro+ (5.2 kWh) and Roadster X+ (9.1 kWh), priced at ₹1,69,999 and ₹1,89,999, respectively. Deliveries for both models will begin this Navratri.
Expanding further into the EV market, Ola Electric announced its entry into the sports scooter category with the S1 Pro Sport, available in 5.2 kWh and 4 kWh variants. Powered by the 4680 Bharat Cell, the scooter is priced at an introductory ₹1,49,999, with deliveries starting in January 2026.
With this milestone, Ola Electric reinforces its leadership in India’s EV two-wheeler space while advancing its long-term vision to accelerate the nation’s transition to clean mobility.
