Ola Electric has announced the rollout of its same-day delivery and registration service, Hyperdelivery, for 4680 Bharat Cell–powered electric vehicles in Bengaluru. The initiative marks a significant step toward simplifying EV ownership and accelerating electric mobility adoption in India’s tech capital.
Hyperdelivery Enables Same-Day Registration and Delivery
With Hyperdelivery, customers purchasing eligible Ola Electric vehicles can complete the entire buying process—purchase, registration, and delivery—within a single day. Buyers can place orders online or at Ola Electric Stores and ride home on a fully registered vehicle within hours, eliminating traditional waiting periods that often stretch into weeks.
Powered by In-House Registration Capabilities
The launch of Hyperdelivery has been enabled by Ola Electric’s move to bring vehicle registration in-house, allowing tighter control over documentation and faster processing. This vertically integrated approach aligns with the company’s direct-to-consumer (D2C) strategy, aimed at reducing friction across the ownership journey.
Focus on Bharat Cell-Powered EVs
The service is currently available for Ola’s 4680 Bharat Cell-powered EVs, which are positioned as high-performance, locally engineered solutions. By combining indigenous battery technology with rapid delivery, Ola Electric aims to strengthen customer confidence and showcase the maturity of India’s EV ecosystem.
Enhancing Customer Experience in a Key EV Market
Bengaluru, one of India’s largest EV markets, has been selected as the pilot city for Hyperdelivery. The initiative is expected to significantly improve customer experience, reduce delivery backlogs, and support faster decision-making for prospective EV buyers in the city.
Supporting Faster EV Adoption in India
Hyperdelivery builds on Ola Electric’s broader Hyperservice initiative, which focuses on improving after-sales service, uptime, and convenience. By compressing delivery timelines and simplifying registration, Ola Electric is addressing key pain points that have traditionally slowed EV adoption.
Expansion Plans Ahead
While currently limited to Bengaluru, Ola Electric is expected to expand Hyperdelivery to other major cities in phases. The company believes the model can become a benchmark for EV retail in India, setting new standards for speed, transparency, and customer convenience.
