In an effort to make reasonably priced electric cars (EVs) more accessible to all Indian households, Ola Electric Mobility has announced a major expansion of its sales and servicing network. By December 25, the firm plans to expand its network to 4000 places as part of its #SavingsWalaScooter promotion, making it one of the world’s quickest EV distribution rollouts.

Ola Electric is now expanding its footprint in Tier-2 and Tier-3 towns as well as metro areas throughout India with the opening of more than 3200 new stores. To guarantee that clients receive the greatest sales and post-purchase assistance, these new stores will be situated next to service facilities. The company wants to support the #SavingsWalaScooter movement by enabling EV ownership for a larger group of customers.

The campaign is in line with Ola Electric’s overarching goal of hastening India’s switch from internal combustion engine (ICE) to electric transportation. The company’s direct-to-consumer (D2C) business strategy seeks to lower the cost and increase accessibility of EVs, providing a viable substitute for the high cost of ownership of internal combustion engines (ICE) and the escalating price of gasoline.

Ola Electric’s inventive product line, which includes the recently released Gig and S1 Z scooters, supports its expanding network. With prices starting at ₹39,999, these scooters serve the rural, semi-urban, and metropolitan markets and provide dependable, adaptable, and long-lasting options for both personal and professional use. In order to maintain its dominant position in the Indian EV market, Ola Electric also plans to introduce more models, such as the Roadster series and S1 portfolio.
