Dominating India’s EV space with its electric scooters, Ola Electric Mobility is now planning to enter electric car market.
The company has recently showed a sneak peek of their electric four-wheeler product coming out of the production process.
This sneak peek was shown during the Ola Customer Day at the Ola Future factory, which was attended by 50,000 customers.
The Ola electric car is still under development and is likely to be launched in 2023.
The company’s CEO Bhavish Aggarwal said that more details about the product will be revealed on August 15 this year.
The electric car is scheduled to be launched by December 15, 2023, and is expected to be priced at Rs. 8 to 10 lakhs (ex-showroom).
This electric car can be a sporty sedan, SUV/coupe, or hatchback. The teaser video also reveals that the Ola sedan car will use design features that are minimal as well as futuristic.
It is also expected that the Ola electric car will have a 25-30kWh battery capacity. And, on a full charge, its range will be around 250-300 km.
This electric car features red paint, sleek LED DRLs, front and rear design, and a slightly sloping side profile at the slightest glance.
The electric four-wheeler has the ‘Ola’ logo on both the front and rear.
