A California-based global leader in the production of advanced high-density lithium-ion battery packs for electric vehicles of all kinds, Octillion Power Systems (“Octillion” or the “Company”) today announced that it has extended its partnership with Vision Marine Technologies Inc. (“Vision”) to include the production of high-voltage lithium-ion battery packs for their marine propulsion systems from Octillion’s manufacturing facility in Reno, Nevada.
The deal states that Octillion will produce Vision-branded battery packs for their E-MotionTM 180E electric outboard system, solely for distribution in the United States. They are thought to be the first battery packs designed specifically for electric marine propulsion. They are made to withstand the harsh conditions of the sea and offer high energy density, durability, and ease of integration, which makes them ideal for both commercial and recreational marine use.

Vision will benefit from quick and affordable production and distribution, a safe and dependable U.S. battery supply chain, and Octillion’s renowned quality standards, which have been used to field more than 2 million battery systems in the company’s 16 years of operation, by leveraging Octillion’s leadership in battery technology. Additionally, significant technological advancements from their present product line—such as greater power, longer range, simplicity of integration, and overall performance—will be transferred to the new Vision-branded battery systems.
