Oben Electric, India’s fastest-growing R&D-driven electric motorcycle manufacturer, has announced that its newly launched motorcycle, the Oben Rorr Evo, has crossed 25,000 bookings within just 15 days of launch, setting a new benchmark for demand in India’s electric motorcycle segment.
The overwhelming response to the Rorr Evo marks a defining moment not just for Oben Electric, but for India’s electric motorcycle market at large, a milestone that stands among the fastest demand accumulations ever seen in the category. What makes this milestone particularly significant is Oben Electric’s strong delivery readiness with 150+ showrooms and dedicated service centres across 100+ cities in 18+ States, ensuring seamless support throughout the ownership journey. Every outlet is backed by dedicated service centres — Oben Care, which holds an industry-best Customer Satisfaction Score (CSAT) of 91%, reinforcing the brand’s strong focus on reliability, customer experience and long-term ownership confidence. Further strengthening its retail presence, the company plans to launch 200 additional exclusive showrooms by end of FY27.
Offered at an introductory price of ₹99,999 (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 customers and ₹1,24,999 (ex-showroom) thereafter. Oben Electric has now opened the payment portal on its website for Rorr Evo customers to avail introductory price of ₹99,999 (ex-showroom), with deliveries scheduled to commence from June 2026.

Supporting this expansion is Oben Electric’s vertically integrated manufacturing facility focused on quality, reliability and scale. The company develops and manufactures all critical EV components internally, including LFP batteries, motors, vehicle control units (VCU), chargers and proprietary software systems, enabling tighter control over innovation, performance, product quality and production timelines. Oben Electric’s fully integrated manufacturing facility currently has an annual production capacity of 1 lakh motorcycles, enabling the company to rapidly scale production.
Oben Rorr Evo delivers features and performance package positioned significantly above its price segment. Powered by Oben Electric’s proprietary IPMSM motor with a peak power output of 9 kW, heavy rare-earth-free, IP68-rated and 40% more compact than its predecessor while delivering 20% more power and 250 Nm of wheel torque. Rorr Evo has a 3.4 kWh LFP battery offering an IDC range of 180 km, 0–40 km/h acceleration in 3 seconds and a top speed of 110 km/h. The Rorr Evo also supports fast charging from 0–80% in 90 minutes and comes backed by an 8-year battery warranty. Designed for both performance and everyday practicality, the motorcycle features the segment’s longest seat and 10 litres of storage space, alongside SmartIQ™, Oben Electric’s AI-powered ride optimisation technology that enhances range by up to 15%. Additional features include a 5-inch colour TFT display, OTA updates, turn-by-turn navigation, geo-fencing, remote immobilisation, and fall detection with emergency SOS through Oben’s proprietary ARGUS connected technology platform.
