With prices starting at INR 999, GreenCell Mobility’s first electric intercity bus brand in India, NueGo, is pleased to announce the opening of its all-electric bus service on the Delhi–Lucknow route. This new route offers guests a first-rate travel experience between two major cities in the Northern area, further solidifying the brand’s dedication to sustainable mass mobility. An important milestone in sustainable travel has been reached with the opening of its newest and longest electric intercity bus route, which will connect Delhi and Lucknow and cover the vast distance in about 10 hours. This route sets a new standard for long-distance EV intercity transit in India.

The electric buses from NueGo are designed to seamlessly combine sustainability, punctuality, comfort, and safety. Each bus is subjected to 25 stringent safety inspections, including mechanical and electrical examinations, and has zero tailpipe emissions, guaranteeing dependability for long-distance transportation. The Delhi-Lucknow route provides all visitors with a comfortable, environmentally friendly travel experience, with a range of more than 250 km on a single charge.

Mr. Devndra Chawla, CEO & MD of GreenCell Mobility, commented on the launch, saying, “At NueGo, we are always striving to provide passengers with a sustainable yet luxurious intercity travel experience. We’re not simply opening new lines with this expansion; we’re also starting a shift towards intercity travel that is cleaner and more intelligent. Our goal is to provide unparalleled comfort and dependability while lowering India’s carbon impact.”

With more than 300 electric buses running more than 500 daily departures, NueGo’s expanding sustainable mass transit network throughout India includes the Delhi-Lucknow service. Among the cutting-edge features of NueGo electric buses is real-time geolocation tracking via the NueGo App, a mobile app. Well-trained employees, first-rate in-flight amenities, and access to airport-style lounges in certain cities provide a comfortable and stress-free travel experience for passengers.

A 24-hour helpline, a “Pink Seat” option when purchasing tickets, buses with CCTV surveillance, GPS tracking, driver breathalyser testing, and speed limits of 80 km/h are just a few of the measures that demonstrate NueGo’s commitment to women’s safety.

This route opening comes after the successful completion of NueGo’s Kashmir to Kanyakumari (E-K2K) expedition, which highlighted the value of public participation in sustainability initiatives and showed how resilient electric buses are in a variety of terrains.
