The government of North East India has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with A Plus Charge for the development of 1000+ EV charging stations across the state.

The agreement is a significant step towards facilitating the usage of electric vehicles in North East India and making it a more convenient option for residents and businesses. The charging stations will be powered by using the latest technology of DC Fast Charging and will be accessible to everyone, including those with disabilities. This will help in promoting the usage of electric vehicles and also contribute to the cleaner and more sustainable transportation future of the region.

The MoU was signed by Samyak Jain, Founder & CEO of A Plus Charge, and M. Ramanunni, CEO and Co-Founder of chargeMOD. The two companies have extensive expertise in the deployment and management of EV charging stations and are committed to providing reliable and efficient charging infrastructure throughout the region.

The collaboration between A Plus Charge and charged is expected to create a robust EV charging network across North East India, making EV ownership a more convenient and practical choice for residents and businesses. This partnership will leverage the expertise of both companies and enable them to achieve their goals of promoting sustainable mobility solutions in the region.
