Solaris has secured three contracts to deliver a total of 103 Urbino 15 LE electric buses to Scandinavian public transport operator Nobina. the zero-emission, low -entry buses are set to be deployed across Sweden’s stockholm, skane and Goteborg regions by mid-2027
Of the 103 vehicles, 50 will run in the Stockholm region, 49 in Skåne and four around Goteborg. Each bus will be fitted with Solaris High Energy batteries, providing range for routes extending beyond urban areas.
Sverre Skaar said the deal marks a key milestone in advancing sustainable transport in Sweden, highlighting both zero emissions and passenger comfort.
Solaris has been supplying Nobina since 2010, with the operator steadily growing its zero-emission fleet. since 2024 Solaris has delivered 201 e-buses to Nobina and is set to supply more than 320 additional units across 2026 and 2027. the latest contracts further support Nobina’s ongoing expansion of services on urban and suburban routes in sweden
