      New E-bike Manufacturing Facility at MIDC Chakan Launched

      Bharat Forge Limited’s electric mobility subsidiary, Kalyani Powertrain Limited has launched its first electric bike manufacturing facility at MIDC Chakan.

      Bharat ForgeThe facility in MIDC Chakan was inaugurated on 08th March 2023 by Baba Kalayani, CMD, Bharat Forge Ltd. & Amit Kalyani, DMD, Bharat Forge Ltd.

      The facility has a production capacity of 60,000 units per annum and is scalable to 100,000 units per annum, will undertake the assembly of E-bikes for Tork Motors Private Limited, 64.29% owned by Kalyani Powertrain Limited.
