Montra Electric, the electric mobility arm of the Murugappa Group, has launched its first dealership for electric small commercial vehicles (e-SCVs) in the Delhi-NCR region, marking a major step in its pan-India expansion. Operated by SOL Automotive India Pvt. Ltd., the new 3S facility—offering sales, service, spare parts, and charging support—has opened in Kherki Daula along NH-8 in Gurugram.

The newly inaugurated showroom will showcase Montra Electric’s flagship 3.5-tonne e-SCV, the EViator, which is tailored for high-performance urban freight and last-mile logistics operations. Designed for durability and high load-carrying capacity, the EViator features an 80 kW motor with 300 Nm of torque and a certified range of 245 km. Real-world range is approximately 170 km under normal load conditions. It also offers fleet telematics, over 95% uptime, and an extended warranty of up to 7 years or 250,000 km.

The dealership was inaugurated by Saju Nair, CEO of TIVOLT Electric Vehicles Private Limited (Montra’s SCV division), and Rajesh Gulia, Director of SOL Automotive India, in the presence of business partners, commercial fleet operators, and industry stakeholders.

Speaking at the launch, Saju Nair said, “The Delhi-NCR region is a strategic market in our national rollout plan. This dealership strengthens our ability to deliver high-performance electric vehicles designed specifically for the demands of urban logistics.”

Rajesh Gulia of SOL Automotive added, “We are excited to bring the EViator to Gurugram’s fast-evolving commercial vehicle sector.” “This facility is designed to provide seamless support from purchase to after-sales service, enhancing the customer experience.”

The dealership’s strategic location in one of North India’s busiest logistics corridors highlights Montra Electric’s focus on key commercial hubs. The move aligns with India’s growing push toward cleaner, more efficient urban transport systems.

Montra Electric, officially known as TI Clean Mobility Pvt. Ltd., is part of the 125-year-old Murugappa Group. The company’s product portfolio includes electric three-wheelers for passenger and cargo segments, e-trucks, and India’s first electric tractor, the E-27.

With this launch, Montra Electric reinforces its commitment to expanding its dealership and service network across India—especially in urban and semi-urban areas—aiming to accelerate the adoption of electric commercial mobility solutions.
