The INR-21700-M65A and INR-21700-P60B, two state-of-the-art 21700 battery models from Molicel, a world pioneer in high-performance lithium-ion cells, are poised to transform the LEV (light electric vehicle) industry with unmatched power solutions. The INR-21700-M65A (6.5Ah) and INR-21700-P60B (6.0Ah) have both made significant strides in the market for maximum energy density. Using e-bikes as an example, the INR-21700-M65A is perfect for a variety of e-bikes where greater mileage is essential because the high capacity of the M Series is specifically made for extended range. The P Series, on the other hand, is built for power; the INR-21700-P60B is designed especially for high-end MTBs (electric mountain bikes) that require the highest output and acceleration. With these two cutting-edge offerings, Molicel provides a comprehensive solution set to revolutionise the entire e-bike and LEV industries.

The Molicel INR-21700-M65A raises the bar for durability and power. Its 6500 mAh capacity ensures that city/urban bikes and e-motorcycles run longer by increasing driving range by 30%. Its strong 26A discharge current and long operating durations are made possible by its high energy density of 325 Wh/kg. The M65A offers a 40% increase in dependability after more than 1000 cycles, resulting in increased safety for applications such as e-scooters, e-skateboards, and 3-wheel electric recumbent bicycles, among other personal micromobility devices. This translates into safer, more dependable vehicle operation and noticeably longer battery life.

The Molicel INR-21700-P60B is designed to meet the high power and range requirements of MTBs, in addition to the INR-21700-M65A. For MTBs, cross bikes, and dirt bikes, its unparalleled 90A discharge current provides quick bursts, enabling smooth navigation of steep climbs and challenging terrain. With only a slight increase in temperature, the INR-21700-P60B has a low internal resistance of 12.8 mΩ, a 14.7% improvement. It can be fully charged in just 13 minutes because of its remarkable 5C quick charging capabilities. These characteristics make it perfect for cargo bikes, guaranteeing dependable and seamless operation for both commercial fleet deployment and demanding delivery operations.

“Battery development for e-bikes and the LEV sector as a whole has been sluggish, with few generational advancements. With two innovative technologies, Molicel is attempting to transform the most popular battery market and provide a completely new experience. Like recent developments in electric vehicles, we think this will hasten the transformation of the entire LEV business,” stated Molicel President Casey Shiue. The launch of the INR-21700-P60B and INR-21700-M65A not only demonstrates our unwavering commitment to innovation, but it also establishes new standards for endurance and performance in the e-bike sector. This will enable riders and manufacturers to achieve previously unheard-of levels of power and efficiency.

Our industry-leading products are powered by Molicel’s technical expertise in both performance and safety. The INR-21700-M65A and INR-21700-P60B redefine the LEV market by providing LEVs with previously unheard-of power and high capacity. Our intense research and development efforts centred on thermal behaviour, which have produced cells with remarkably low flammability, demonstrate our fundamental dedication to safety. Our technology makes us the greatest provider since it combines state-of-the-art technology with unwavering safety, allowing us to produce superior battery solutions quickly.
