On October 10, 2025, Indian shares of electric vehicle (EV) makers and auto parts suppliers were mixed as investors weighed a short-term market reshuffling against bullish long-term growth forecasts for the clean mobility trade.

Uniparts India emerged as top gainer, up 4.45 per cent at ₹474.95. That rise was due to continuing buying by institutions, and upbeat prospects for the auto components sector. JBM Auto was among top performers, which increased 1.80% to ₹664.55 on stable demand for its electric buses. Minda Corporation rose 1.19% to ₹588.95, Bharat Electronics grew by 1.02% to ₹413.50, and Bharat Forge rose 0.89% to ₹1,220.00.

Amara Raja Energy & Mobility, an important player in the battery and energy storage market, continued its growth with a 0.80% increase to ₹1,005.65. This rise reflects investor confidence in its lithium and upcoming sodium-ion battery projects. Exide Industries also saw a 0.77% increase to ₹400.65, while Sona Comstar jumped 0.79% to ₹432.80, maintaining their recent positive momentum.

On the downside, HEG faced the biggest drop of the day, falling 3.77% to ₹515.20. UNO Minda fell by 3.20% to ₹1,219.80. Olectra Greentech dropped 1.10% to ₹1,517.40, while Ola Electric Mobility declined by 1.00% to ₹49.70 due to minor profit-taking. Tata Motors slipped 0.32% to ₹678.95, and Hero MotoCorp fell 0.22% to ₹5,500.00.

With all this, market analysts do not see there is a high decline in investor interest in the sector. On the contrary, it is stable, and this is due to the long-term efforts of the Indian government to implement electric vehicles and their production.
