A price change for the ZS EV was just announced by MG Motor India. For some models, the brand has raised the price of the electric car by up to Rs. 32,000. The updated prices will go into effect right away. The Essence Dark Grey, 100-Year Edition, and Essence Dual-Tone Iconic Ivory versions now cost more, according to the firm. The company hasn’t raised the costs of its entry-level models, such as the Executive and Excite Pro, though.

The MG ZS EV’s Essence Dark Grey model has witnessed the biggest hike, going up by Rs 32,000. After this, the price of the 100-Year Edition and the Essence Dual-Tone Iconic Ivory variants increased by Rs. 31,000 year.

There are also significant pricing changes for those who select the Exclusive Plus versions. The price of the Exclusive Plus Dual-Tone Iconic Ivory version has increased by Rs. 30,000, while the Exclusive Plus Dark Grey version now costs Rs. 30,200 more. It’s important to note that the entry-level Executive and Excite Pro models are still available and priced as before.

These recent changes have strengthened the MG ZS EV’s position as a competitive choice in the electric mid-size SUV market by bringing its pricing down to between Rs. 18.98 lakh and Rs. 25.75 lakh (ex-showroom). This action is in line with more general developments in the electric vehicle sector, where producers are dealing with rising expenses for shipping and raw materials.

The MG ZS EV is still a desirable option for anyone thinking about purchasing an electric car, even though the recent price hike might provide difficulties for some prospective purchasers. As consumer preferences and economic situations continue to change, it will be interesting to see how the market reacts to these developments.
