Non-metropolitan areas accounted for a noteworthy 48% of purchases, indicating a change in mobility choices across Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities as well as the expanding demand for EVs outside of urban centres.
The newly introduced Windsor EV PRO model, which has 8,000 reservations in just one day, is driving this trend. Level-2 ADAS, a 15.6-inch touchscreen, reclining rear seats, six airbags, and a larger 52.9 kWh battery with a stated range of 449 km are all features of the PRO variant.
Its Battery-as-a-Service business model, which offers affordability and flexibility, has also helped to explain its broad appeal. It starts at just ₹9.99 lakh plus battery usage fees. The Windsor has won more than 30 industry honours, including iCOTY’s coveted Green Car Award 2025.
