The MG ES5 EV, which will shortly go on sale, has been teased by MG Motor. It is anticipated that the MG ZS EV would be replaced by the MG ES5 EV in international markets. We have the MG ZS EV here in India as well, and if the aforementioned source is accurate, we may also have the MG ES5 EV.
The company plans to sell the MG ES5 EV in European markets. The EV’s debut in the Indian market has not been confirmed by the manufacturer.
The MG ES5 EV has a nice front end, which consists of headlights and a bumper. The Cyberster and MG 4 hatchback, two of the most recent MG vehicles, share a similar style. The Nebula platform is exclusive to the MG ES5 EV. The platform can accommodate batteries up to two meters in length and a wheelbase of up to 3100mm.
The MG ES5 measures 4.4 meters in length, 1.8 meters in width, and 1.6 meters in height. The car has a longer wheelbase than the ZS EV, measuring 2730mm.
A single-motor rear-wheel drive system with 167 horsepower and 250 Nm is available for the EV. The car can reach a high speed of 170 kmph and complete a 0-100 kilometer run in 8 seconds. Three distinct battery sizes for the electric SUV will be available from the business. Although the battery’s specifications are still being worked out, the range will be 425 km, 515 km, and 525 km, respectively.
