To maintain its sales momentum, Mercedes-Benz India, the biggest luxury automobile manufacturer in the nation, plans to introduce eight new models in 2025.

These eight new models will include a larger percentage of battery electric cars (BEVs) and high-end TEVs, which continue to outsell the mainstream luxury automobile market, in order to accommodate changing consumer tastes. The company’s expectations were exceeded by the performance of the EV cars.

In addition to diversifying its product line, Mercedes-Benz plans to open 20 additional retail locations in Agra, Kanpur, Jammu, and Patna in order to increase its footprint in India’s developing areas. Under the MAR20X framework, it stated that its franchise partners had pledged more than Rs 450 crore to modernize the company’s retail network in order to bring it into compliance with international luxury standards.

Road safety initiatives have been given Rs 7.5 crore by Mercedes-Benz as part of its corporate social responsibility efforts. In order to lower accidents and fatalities, the funds will improve safety measures on important highways, including as the Nizamabad Corridor and the Samrudhhi Mahamarg.

Mercedes-Benz is also extending the reach of its brand outside of automobiles. It has teamed up with Tata Cliq Luxury to offer clothing, accessories, and fragrances under the “House of Mercedes-Benz” brand on the internet.

Additionally, the business intends to create a dedicated store in Bengaluru and introduce the “Maybach Icons of Luxury” series. The goal of this program is to strengthen consumers’ bond with the Mercedes-Benz name and give them engaging brand experiences.
