Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer Matter Motor has announced a strategic partnership with Bolt.Earth, a leading EV charging infrastructure provider, to expand and enhance electric vehicle (EV) charging support across the country. This collaboration aims to improve convenience and accessibility for EV users, accelerating India’s transition to sustainable mobility.

      Integration with MatterVerse App
Through this partnership, Matter Motor riders will gain direct access to Bolt.Earth’s extensive charging network via the MatterVerse app. The integration allows users to locate, book, and use chargers seamlessly, ensuring a reliable and user-friendly experience for EV owners.

      Phased Rollout and Co-Branded Chargers

The partnership will be implemented in multiple phases:

      1. Full integration of Bolt.Earth chargers within the MatterVerse app for real-time navigation and usage.

      2. Installation of co-branded chargers at Matter showrooms and service centers to support test rides, customer charging, and dealership readiness.

      3. Future plans include bundling chargers with new Matter vehicles, enhancing customer convenience.

      Roles and Responsibilities

Bolt.Earth will manage installation, maintenance, uptime monitoring, billing, and service-level agreements, while Matter Motor will drive awareness campaigns, infrastructure placement planning, and app integration for riders.

      Boosting India’s EV Ecosystem

This collaboration is expected to significantly strengthen India’s EV charging ecosystem, offering riders convenient access to fast and reliable charging stations. The partnership aligns with the government’s push for electric mobility adoption and contributes to reducing the nation’s carbon footprint.

      Looking Ahead

As EV adoption continues to accelerate in India, partnerships like Matter Motor and Bolt.Earth play a critical role in providing the infrastructure and support needed to make electric mobility more mainstream, convenient, and sustainable for users nationwide.
