Maruti Suzuki has officially launched the e Vitara, an all-electric SUV, in India. Prices start at Rs 10.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV is positioned in the mid-size electric SUV segment and is available with two battery options, offering ranges of 344 km and 426 km under the WLTP cycle. Power is sent to the front wheels via a single electric motor, making it a front-wheel-drive EV.
Booking and Payment
Customers can book the e Vitara online through the Nexa portal. The process involves:
- Entering personal details such as name and mobile number.
- Verifying the mobile number via an OTP.
- Selecting the preferred variant, colour, and dealership.
- Paying a booking amount of Rs 21,000.
Once the booking is confirmed, the selected dealership will contact the buyer to schedule a test drive when the vehicle arrives at the showroom.

The e Vitara features a bold and modern design with a rugged appeal, highlighted by:
