Mahindra has announced that it will triple production of the BE 6 Batman Edition, raising the number of units from the originally planned 300 to 999, after witnessing overwhelming demand from enthusiasts and early buyers.
The special edition electric SUV, inspired by DC’s iconic superhero Batman, will now be available to a wider audience, though it remains a limited-run model.
Bookings and Availability:

Pre-bookings opened on August 21 at 5 PM, allowing customers to register their interest through Mahindra’s online portal with OTP and KYC verification.

Official bookings will commence on August 23 at 11 AM, with a booking amount of ₹21,000.

Deliveries are scheduled to begin on September 20, 2025, aligning with International Batman Day.
Mahindra is also offering buyers a chance to select a preferred badge number between 001 and 999. However, the badge selection is non-exclusive, meaning multiple customers may own the same number.
The BE 6 Batman Edition, part of Mahindra’s Born Electric lineup, has been positioned as a collector’s SUV with unique design elements and themed features that celebrate the Batman legacy.
This move highlights Mahindra’s growing focus on the premium EV segment and its strategy of leveraging pop culture-inspired editions to engage a new generation of buyers.
