Lynk & Co has announced the European launch of its 08 plug-in hybrid SUV, boasting a 200km all-electric range (WLTP) and DC fast-charging. Already available in China, the 08 will hit European markets in June 2025, starting at €52,995. Designed to bridge the gap between traditional and fully electric vehicles, it targets consumers hesitant to switch entirely to EVs.

The 08’s combined electric range and traditional petrol engine provide a driving range of more than 1,100 kilometres, per manufacturer standards. The battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in around 33 minutes because to the car’s DC fast-charging capability.

The introduction is the third model in Lynk & Co.’s European lineup and signifies the company’s entry into the competitive D-segment SUV market. By 2025, the company intends to penetrate more European markets and increase its retail footprint throughout Europe.

The 08 will be available at Lynk & Co Club locations, online, and through Lynk & Co dealers. It will come in two trim levels: Core and More. Prospective buyers can sign up on the business’ website to get updates and arrange test drives for when the car is ready.

This launch is a component of Lynk & Co.’s larger plan to increase its market share in the European automotive sector by introducing new products and sales channels as the sector continues its electrification.
