Lohia has introduced the “Humsafar IAQ” 3-wheeler, expanding its range of battery-operated two and three-wheelers.

This new vehicle offers a range of 185 km per charge, making it ideal for last-mile connectivity and short commutes, with a maximum speed of 48 km/hr. It is designed to provide safe and comfortable transportation, accommodating a driver and four passengers, according to the company’s media release.

The Humsafar IAQ features a 7.6 kW swappable battery and a 10.7 kW fixed battery, along with an IP67-rated motor and 4.5R10, 8 PR Sheet Metal Rim. Its distinctive blue shade adds a touch of refinement and exclusivity.

Ayush Lohia, CEO of Lohia, commented, “Supportive government policies and rising Diesel/CNG prices have increased the demand for electric vehicles. Our mission is to bring the electric vehicle revolution to every part of the country.”

The Humsafar IAQ can run up to 100,000 km with minimal maintenance and includes unique features such as an in-built music system, wiper system, GPS, and a five-year warranty.

Manufactured at Lohia’s Kashipur facility in Uttarakhand, the Humsafar IAQ is a “Made in India” product. With an annual production capacity of 100,000 units, Lohia is committed to delivering innovative and efficient electric vehicles to meet the growing demands of both domestic and international markets.

The Humsafar IAQ 3-wheeler is now offered at authorized Lohia dealerships throughout India. The company also plans to expand its dealership network from 100 to 200 locations to reach more customers and ensure a seamless ownership experience, the release noted.
