Zeta Energy Corp and Log9 Materials announced their cooperative alliance to develop the next generation of cells and batteries.

For both businesses, the cooperation has a lot to offer. Zeta Energy’s cutting-edge Li-S materials may open up new avenues for Log9 to enhance overall cell performance. Log9 will be able to produce next-generation energy storage systems with improved range, stability, and cost by integrating these materials into their packs and modules.

Additionally, Zeta will receive important data from Log9’s experience integrating battery systems to confirm their best-in-class Li-S materials. The collaboration is expected to provide insights into how lithium-sulfur batteries can be further optimised for various commercial applications, according to both businesses.

“We intend to bring faster charging, lower priced, and more sustainable battery solutions to the Indian electric mobility market and beyond. We believe that Zeta Energy’s exceptional skills in lithium-sulfur battery technology will enable us to arrive at our destination more quickly,” said Pankaj Sharma, Co-Founder of Log9.

“It’s a very synergistic relationship. Concerning commercialising cutting-edge battery technology, Log9 has an outstanding track record. By working together, we can harness the potential of lithium-sulfur batteries to revolutionise energy storage for use in grid storage, electric automobiles, construction equipment, and other applications,” concurred Tom Pilette, CEO of Zeta Energy.

The collaboration is scheduled to start on April 21 during Log9’s yearly Day Zero anniversary celebration.
