Legal-tech startup Lawyered has scripted a historic moment on Indian television by securing a record-breaking ₹8.5 crore investment on the business reality show IdeaBaaz, marking the largest funding deal ever announced on Indian TV. The investment was sealed at a ₹120 crore pre-money valuation and witnessed a rare unanimous All-Titans deal, highlighting strong investor confidence in Lawyered’s vision to transform India’s mobility compliance and legal access ecosystem.
In an unprecedented move, all IdeaBaaz Titans jointly invested in Lawyered, signalling collective belief in the scale and urgency of the problem the startup is addressing. The investment round brought together a distinguished panel of investors, including Pawan Jaggi, US-based venture capitalist and Global Director at Turbostart; Sandesh Sharda, VC investor based in Washington D.C.; Priyanka Salot, Co-founder of The Sleep Company; and Arjun Vaidya, Partner at V3 Ventures.
Further strengthening industry confidence, Lawyered has also received validation and technical backing from IIT Madras, reinforcing the robustness of its technology platform and its potential to build a nationwide legal and mobility-compliance network.
Commenting on the milestone, Himanshu Gupta, Founder & CEO of Lawyered, said the ₹8.5 crore All-Titans deal goes beyond funding and represents validation of a national-scale mission. He noted that unanimous backing from every Titan on IdeaBaaz reaffirmed the importance of the infrastructure Lawyered is building to make legal access and mobility compliance seamless and accessible for every Indian. The fresh capital, he added, will accelerate the scaling of LOTS247, expand ChallanPay, and strengthen Lawyered’s evolution into India’s most trusted mobility-compliance ecosystem.
Lawyered plans to deploy the funds towards product innovation, technology infrastructure expansion, nationwide distribution, and enhanced brand visibility. A key focus will be the growth of LOTS247, India’s first roadside legal assistance service, and ChallanPay, its traffic challan discovery and resolution platform. Both solutions have already seen strong adoption among individual vehicle owners, logistics and transport operators, gig workers, and small businesses across the country.
Reacting to the landmark deal, Mudit Kumar, Co-Founder & COO of IdeaBaaz, said Lawyered delivered a first-of-its-kind moment on Indian television by uniting every Titan on the panel. He highlighted the startup’s clear mission, strong traction across Bharat, and solid technology foundation as key factors behind the unanimous decision, calling the deal a defining moment for both the show and India’s startup ecosystem.
Jeet Wagh, Founder & CEO of IdeaBaaz, echoed the sentiment, stating that Lawyered’s All-Titans moment reflects the core vision of IdeaBaaz—to spotlight transformative, category-defining startups that are building scalable solutions for India’s most pressing challenges.
As mobility governance and legal compliance gain increasing importance within India’s transport and logistics ecosystem, Lawyered’s historic fundraising on IdeaBaaz positions the company to scale rapidly and build a robust, accessible, and technology-driven legal services infrastructure nationwide.
