Is the Kia EV4 GT the long-awaited, reasonably priced electric sports vehicle? A sportier update is on the horizon for Kia’s first worldwide electric car. We’re finally getting a look inside the EV4 GT after it was spotted in public.
A first glimpse at the interior of the Kia EV4 GT has been spotted.
One of the most eagerly awaited electric vehicles of 2025 is the EV4. Kia will introduce it in Europe later this year and the US in 2026 after starting orders in Korea earlier this year.
In Korea, the starting price of Kia’s electric vehicle is only 41.92 million won, or about $30,000. Prices for North America and Europe have not yet been disclosed, but the entry-level EV is anticipated to cost at between $35,000 and $40,000.
Kia describes it as an “entirely new type of EV sedan” with a broad stance and fastback shape, despite its conventional four-door configuration.
Even though the EV4 already looks like a sports vehicle, Kia is set to release an improved GT version that might seriously compete with the Tesla Model 3 Performance.
How could anyone overlook the EV6 GT? As “the most powerful Kia production vehicle ever,” it debuted on the market in 2022. The high-performance EV’s 576 horsepower allowed it to reach 60 mph in 3.4 seconds, which is faster than the typical Ferrari or Lamborghini.
The EV4 GT will probably provide even more, given the notable improvements in the powertrain, battery, and other areas over the last few years.
We get our first look at the inside of the EV4 GT thanks to a couple of spy images that were taken outside of Kia and Hyundai’s factory in Korea.
A few interior improvements the GT variant will receive over the base EV4 are revealed in the latest HealerTV video. As you can see, the inside is nearly identical to that of the EV9 GT. The material used for the upper portion of the seating is the only minor variation that we can observe.
The EV4 GT will have an adjustable ambient lighting feature, similar to the EV6 GT and EV9 GT, which lets you change the interior’s colour and brightness.
Although it is covered, Kia’s new ccNC infotainment system is anticipated to be included in the EV4 GT. Two 12.3-inch driver and navigation screens are part of the panoramic curved display.
Like past Kia GT cars, the exterior is probably going to have bigger wheels and a more aggressive front-end design. The precise specifications are still unknown, however it is anticipated that the EV4 GT would sport a dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) drivetrain.
The EV4 has a driving range of 237 miles or 331 miles (533 km) and comes with two battery options in Korea: 58.2 kWh and 81.4 kWh. Like other GT models, the GT version is probably going to use the larger 81.4 kWh battery pack.
With an EPA-estimated driving range of up to 330 miles and an integrated NACS connector for accessing Tesla Superchargers, Kia will introduce the EV4 in the US the following year. The EV4 is anticipated to start at between $35,000 and $40,000; prices will be disclosed closer to launch. The 2025 Kia EV6 GT starts at $63,800, and the GT version may cost between $50,000 and $55,000.
With a 298-mile range and a 2.9-second 0–60 mph acceleration, the Tesla Model 3 Performance starts at $54,990 in the US.
