Building on the success of its first annual EV Day in South Korea last year, Kia Corporation will hold its second annual event in the Tarraco Arena in Tarragona, Spain. The company’s newest electric cars as well as its goal for sustainable mobility innovation will be on display during the event.
The production version of the Kia EV4, which was first shown as a concept at the first EV Day; the Kia PV5, which is the company’s first dedicated Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) model, which was first unveiled as a concept at CES 2024; and the brand-new Concept EV2, the newest model in Kia’s electric vehicle lineup, will be the event’s main attractions.
Based on Kia’s Opposites United design philosophy, the company has unveiled teaser photos and video footage demonstrating the vehicles’ design components. These models incorporate cutting-edge electric platform technology to satisfy a range of client demands in the commercial and passenger sectors.
Kia will discuss its PBV strategy at the event, including its business strategies, vision, product selection, and PV5 launch schedule. The company will also highlight its cutting-edge battery electric skateboard architecture, a platform that can adapt to different vehicle body shapes.
Kia’s enhanced electrification plan, which the firm thinks will transform the global EV market, will be presented by senior leadership team members. In March, the event proceedings will be posted on the Kia Worldwide YouTube channel, giving viewers across the world a chance to see the company’s most recent advancements in environmentally friendly transportation.
