In a move aimed at strengthening customer trust and satisfaction, Kia India, one of the country’s leading mass-premium automakers, has expanded its Extended Warranty programme from 5 years to up to 7 years. The enhanced programme is available for both new and existing customers of popular models, including the Kia Seltos, Sonet, Syros, and Carens, ensuring long-term peace of mind and comprehensive support.

The upgraded warranty coverage reflects Kia India’s continued focus on delivering an exceptional ownership experience backed by reliability, service quality, and transparency. With this initiative, existing customers who currently hold a 5-year extended warranty can now upgrade to a 7-year (5+2) plan, starting at INR 32,170 (excluding taxes). For new customers purchasing any of the eligible models, the 7-year Extended Warranty package starts at INR 47,249 (excluding taxes).

Customers can avail of this upgraded warranty program through any authorised Kia dealership across India. The warranty ensures coverage against unforeseen mechanical or electrical issues beyond the standard warranty period, further enhancing vehicle value, reducing long-term maintenance costs, and improving resale potential.

Commenting on the announcement, Mr Atul Sood, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, Kia India, said:

“Kia India is deeply committed to enhancing customer benefits and ensuring complete peace of mind. By extending our warranty coverage up to 7 years for both new and existing customers, we reaffirm our confidence in the durability and quality of our vehicles while providing continued support through our authorized service network. This initiative reflects our ongoing promise to deliver exceptional ownership experience and long-term value to every Kia customer.”

Over the years, Kia India has launched a series of customer-centric initiatives aimed at improving aftersales satisfaction and overall brand experience. The new 7-year extended warranty programme reinforces Kia’s focus on durability, reliability, and customer-first service. It also positions Kia among the few automakers in India offering such comprehensive long-term coverage, thereby setting a new benchmark in the mass-premium segment.

With the expansion of this programme, Kia India continues to strengthen its commitment to delivering value-driven ownership, ensuring that customers enjoy worry-free mobility and consistent brand support throughout their vehicle’s lifecycle.
