JSW MG Motor India has announced a strategic partnership with leading real estate developers, Confident Group, and technology partner IONAGE Technologies to accelerate the expansion of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across residential communities in India. This initiative is part of the company’s MG Charge program, aimed at making EV ownership more convenient, accessible, and sustainable for urban residents.

MG Charge Initiative: Scaling EV Infrastructure Nationwide

As part of the MG Charge initiative, JSW MG Motor has already installed over 800 EV chargers across India. The partnership sets the stage for the company’s ambitious goal of deploying 1,000 chargers in 1,000 days, ensuring widespread availability of residential EV charging stations in metropolitan areas and high-demand locations.

      Seamless Technology-Driven Charging Experience

IONAGE Technologies is powering the user experience with an advanced platform that enables residents to book charging slots, monitor sessions, and charge vehicles effortlessly at home. The technology has already been implemented across nine Confident Group properties in Kerala, offering residents a reliable and convenient home-charging solution.

Anurag Mehrotra, Managing Director of JSW MG Motor India, stated:

“This partnership represents a significant leap in making sustainable mobility the norm for urban communities. By collaborating with developers like Confident Group and technology leaders like IONAGE, we are enabling convenient, reliable EV charging at residents’ doorsteps, accelerating India’s transition to cleaner transportation.”

Vimal Kumar V, CEO of IONAGE Technologies, added:

“Our platform, combined with MG’s commitment to electric mobility, is making home charging simple and scalable. We aim to enable over 5,000 residential societies by 2028, transforming India’s EV landscape.”
