JSW MG Motor India has achieved a major milestone by surpassing 1 lakh electric vehicle (EV) sales in the country, underscoring the brand’s growing influence in India’s fast-evolving electric mobility landscape. The company credited its success to the robust demand for the MG Windsor EV, which has emerged as a key driver of its expanding footprint in the EV market.

This achievement reinforces JSW MG Motor’s strong commitment to sustainability, innovation, and clean mobility under its “Future Forward” vision. With increasing adoption of EVs across both metro and non-metro cities, the brand continues to shape India’s transition towards environmentally responsible transportation.

The Windsor EV, known for its long-range capability, advanced battery management system, and connected features, has been particularly well-received by Indian consumers. Its performance, design, and affordability have positioned it as one of the most popular electric vehicles in the premium compact EV segment.

JSW MG Motor’s expansion strategy focuses on strengthening its retail network, charging infrastructure, and digital services to ensure a seamless ownership experience. The company is also investing in localised production and battery innovation, aiming to make EVs more affordable and accessible to Indian consumers.

Speaking about the achievement, a JSW MG Motor spokesperson stated,

“Crossing 1 lakh EV sales is not just a milestone—it’s a reflection of our customers’ trust and India’s accelerating shift towards electric mobility. With Windsor leading the way, we aim to redefine the electric vehicle experience for every Indian driver.”

As India’s EV market grows rapidly, JSW MG Motor plans to expand its product lineup with more advanced and high-performance EVs while continuing to support the nation’s carbon-neutrality goals.
