We are looking for a Quality Engineer with knowledge on Quality Management Systems, The job role will consist of managing and deployment of digital QMS.
You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products manufactured by the company and for overseeing the development and implementation of quality control systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure customer satisfaction.
Extensive knowledge on Customer, Supplier and In-process Quality and Qualified IATF 16949 Auditor from an electronic manufacturing industry background is must.
Requirements
- Develop, implement and maintain quality control systems, policies, and procedures to ensure the company’s products meet or exceed customer requirements.
- Ensure the company is compliant with all relevant quality standards, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and customer-specific requirements.
- Manage a team of quality control technicians, providing direction, training and support as necessary.
- Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the quality control systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze and report on quality metrics, including customer complaints and non-conformance data, to drive continuous improvement.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production and supply chain, to resolve quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, using lean and six sigma methodologies, to improve processes and product quality.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations and best practices to ensure the company’s quality systems remain current and effective.
- Carry out internal and in process investigation for customer complaints.
- Work with the Engineering and Operations teams to build scalable and sustainable processes and control systems and guide Maxwell to achieve six sigma reliability in electronics manufacturing
Must-Have Requirements:
- Experience in Electronics Manufacturing 5-8 years
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering
- Extensive Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 2015 standards.
- Certified Auditor of ISO and IATF 16949.
- Knowledge of Quality Core tools. (AIAG guidelines)
Nice-to-have Requirements:
- Experience with statistical process control, continuous improvement methodologies, and problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
