Jindal Mobilitric, an electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer based in Ahmedabad, is preparing to greatly grow its business. By the end of the year, it hopes to have 100 dealerships. At the moment, the business has 35 dealers spread over India.

Jindal Mobilitric, a division of the textile giant Jindal Worldwide, has also made significant infrastructural investments. The business has set up a production plant in Ahmedabad that can produce 2.5 lakh electric two-wheelers a year. In order to increase safety and confidence in EV adoption, it has also established an internal battery manufacturing facility with an equivalent production capacity.

The electric two-wheeler, which has an amazing 165-kilometre range on a single charge, was recently unveiled by the business. Regulatory clearances are still needed for the launch, though.

“The business is awaiting official approval shortly after submitting its items for homologation.” “The company intends to launch its products through the dealer network it has developed as soon as the approval is finalised,” a company representative stated.

The representative went on to explain the reasoning behind its battery facility: The goal of establishing an in-house battery plant is to guarantee the greatest degree of battery safety, increase consumer confidence in EV products, and aid in the quicker uptake of EVs in India.

Jindal Mobilitric is establishing itself as a promising new competitor in India’s quickly changing electric mobility market with its integrated production approach and aggressive retail growth.
