On April 22, 2024, the Jeep Wrangler facelift is scheduled to debut in India. The globally released, redesigned Wrangler, which debuted nearly a year ago, is now making its way to this country with new features and a revised look.

Exterior changes made to the Jeep Wrangler

The famous seven-slat design of the Wrangler receives a redesign, with an all-black grille that is smaller than the present model. Ten distinct alloy wheel designs, ranging in size from 17 to 20 inches, and tyre sizes up to 35 inches are offered for the Wrangler globally. The normal soft top, a body-coloured hard top, a black hard top, a hybrid hard and soft top, a Sunrider top that only opens for the front passengers, and a dual-door group with half doors are among the other roof options available.

Interior and feature updates for the Jeep Wrangler

All versions come equipped with a new 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system that takes centre stage. The infotainment screen is powered by Jeep’s Uconnect 5 system, which gives the SUV access to linked features like the Trails Offroad guide, which has 62 popular off-road trails included.

The centre AC vents are now located beneath the infotainment screen, but other than that, the cabin’s design is mostly unaltered. Additionally, it has a redesigned semi-digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and 12-way power-adjustable front seats.

Powertrain revamp for the Jeep Wrangler

Pre-facelift in India specifications A 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine producing 270 horsepower and 400 Nm can be found in the Jeep Wrangler. It comes standard with an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox and Jeep’s Selec-Trac full-time 4WD system. It is anticipated that this engine will remain the only choice for the Wrangler makeover in India.

Competitors and pricing of the Jeep Wrangler facelift

The Jeep Wrangler is presently offered in two different trim levels: Rubicon and Unlimited, which have ex-showroom prices of Rs 66.65 lakh and Rs 62.65 lakh, respectively. Although it doesn’t have a direct competitor, the Land Rover Defender is one of its rivals.
