JBM Auto Limited has emerged as India’s largest electric bus manufacturer by volume in FY26, securing a 24% market share with total registrations of 1,282 electric buses across multiple states.
The company deployed its e-buses in regions including Telangana, Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Assam, strengthening its footprint in India’s public transport electrification drive.
Segment Leadership
JBM Auto has also established dominance across key segments:
- Over 79% market share in electric airport tarmac buses
- More than 50% share in intercity luxury electric coaches
Strong Order Book
The company reported an order book exceeding 10,000 electric buses, providing strong visibility for future growth amid rising demand for sustainable mobility solutions.
Manufacturing Scale
JBM Auto operates one of the largest integrated electric bus manufacturing facilities outside China, with an annual production capacity of 20,000 units, supporting its expansion plans.
