Indofast Energy, India’s leading battery-swapping solutions provider, announced a landmark close to FY26 with significant milestones across infrastructure expansion, OEM partnerships, fleet growth and sustainability impact, reinforcing its position as the country’s one of the fastest-growing and safest battery-swapping network. The company has surpassed key milestones onboarding over 90,000 vehicles, establishing a robust network of 1,600+ battery swap stations across 23 cities, and forging partnership with 32 OEMs. Collectively, the network has enabled 1.6 billion+ kilometres of clean mobility travel and helped save 80,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.

These milestones underscore Indofast Energy’s leadership in accelerating India’s EV transition through a reliable, accessible and scalable battery-swapping ecosystem for electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers. Over the past financial year, the company significantly deepened its presence across metro cities as well as emerging Tier II and Tier III markets, while expanding use cases across personal mobility, gig economy fleets, quick commerce, e-commerce, food delivery, logistics and shared mobility segments.

During FY26, Indofast Energy built multiple strategic partnerships with leading OEMs and mobility players including Motovolt Mobility, e-Sprinto, Quantum Energy, Bike Bazaar, Eveez, Bijliride, Thunderplus and Green Tiger Mobility, among others. These collaborations are enabling battery-swapping compatible EVs to reach a wider consumer base while making EV ownership and operations more affordable, convenient and efficient for fleet operators and gig workers alike.

The company also expanded its infrastructure partnerships with marquee institutions including Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRCL), Indian Railways, BESCOM, Nexus Select Malls and other strategic urban mobility hubs. By integrating battery-swapping stations at high-footfall urban mobility hubs and transit corridors Indofast Energy continues to make clean mobility seamlessly accessible to everyday commuters and fleet operators.

Speaking on this, Anant Badjatya, CEO, Indofast Energy, said: “FY26 has been a defining year for Indofast Energy as we strengthened our position as India’s safest and most trusted battery-swapping network. From scaling our station footprint and onboarding thousands of vehicles, to forging strategic partnerships across OEMs, fleets and infrastructure players, every milestone reflects our commitment to powering everyday India. As the country’s mobility transition gathers pace, battery swapping will play a critical role in driving convenience, affordability and scale – and we are proud to be leading that transformation.”

A major focus area during the year was enabling high-uptime mobility for gig workers and fleet operators through Indofast Energy’s two-minute battery swap model. The company’s rapidly growing network has helped eliminate range anxiety, reduce charging downtime and improve asset utilization for delivery riders and commercial operators across sectors such as q-commerce, e-commerce, food delivery and last-mile logistics.

With strong momentum from FY26, Indofast Energy remains focused on the next phase of growth with accelerated station deployment, deeper market penetration, expanded OEM integrations and continued innovation in battery-swapping technology. The company aims to deploy 3,500 stations and support 2.32 lakh electric vehicles by FY27, while working towards its mission of making battery swapping the default choice for India’s 2W and 3W users.
