Indofast Energy, India’s leading battery-swapping solutions provider, has entered a strategic partnership with Quantum Energy to power the newly launched Bziness XS electric scooter with its innovative battery-swapping technology. Priced at an introductory ₹57,750 (ex-showroom, BaaS option), the Bziness XS aims to provide affordable, zero-downtime electric mobility for daily commuters, fleet operators, and gig economy workers across India.
Zero-Downtime Electric Mobility with Battery Swapping
Through this collaboration, riders of the Bziness XS can leverage Indofast Energy’s extensive network of over 1,100 battery swap stations, enabling battery replacements in under two minutes. This eliminates the traditional barriers of long charging times, high upfront battery costs, and range anxiety, ensuring continuous mobility for commuters and commercial fleet operations.
Indofast Energy offers flexible energy plans starting at ₹999 per month and EMI options beginning at ₹1,499, making electric mobility more accessible and practical. By integrating Quantum Energy’s engineering excellence with Indofast’s robust battery-swapping infrastructure, the partnership aims to make battery swapping the default choice for urban EV transportation.
Designed for Indian Roads
The Bziness XS has been engineered to handle Indian road conditions with durability, efficiency, and eco-friendliness in mind. The electric scooter offers a practical solution for last-mile delivery, ride-hailing services, and daily commuting, supporting the growing shift from fuel-powered to electric-driven mobility solutions.
Leadership Perspectives
Mr. Anant Badjatya, CEO of Indofast Energy, stated, “Our partnership with Quantum Energy marks a significant step in making battery swapping mainstream. By powering the Bziness XS with our infrastructure, we are delivering sustainable, cost-effective mobility to everyday Indians. Battery swapping is faster than refueling or charging, making it the most practical choice for urban transportation.”
Mr. Chakravarthi C, Managing Director of Quantum Energy Limited, added, “Mobility in India is rapidly shifting from ownership to access, and from fuel-driven to electric-driven solutions. The Bziness XS, combined with Indofast’s battery swap network, offers unmatched uptime, affordability, and operational flexibility for fleets and individual riders alike.”
Deployment and Market Impact
Under the current plan, 1,000 Bziness XS scooters will be deployed via Indofast’s network in FY 2025‑26, with a total of 10,000 vehicles expected over the next three years. Indofast Energy’s battery swap network has already completed over 43 million swaps, enabling EVs to travel 1.17 billion kilometers, showcasing the company’s leadership in supporting scalable and reliable electric mobility.
The Bziness XS, backed by Indofast Energy’s battery-swapping technology, represents a paradigm shift in urban mobility — making electric scooters not only a green alternative but also an economically viable and practical choice for India’s growing commuter and commercial segments.
