      On October 15, 2025, shares of Indian electric vehicle (EV) and auto component companies ended predominantly up, indicating robust investor trust in the nation’s expanding clean mobility and automotive industry. Multiple companies noted significant increases, indicating positive sentiments about EV adoption, supply chain expansion, and technological advancements.

      Uniparts India led the way with a strong gain of 6.57%, closing at ₹527.75, as analysts hypothesized that this was attributable to demand and business growth forecasts. Close behind was Ola Electric Mobility Ltd., up 5% to ₹52.75, which expressed investor enthusiasm with the story of the EV growth in India. Other key gainers were JBM Auto (+2.35% at ₹653), Greaves Cotton (+1.90% at ₹205.21) and UNO Minda (+1.86% at ₹1,207.40). Meanwhile, companies like Bharat Electronics, Bharat Forge, Bosch, Exicom Tele-Systems, Minda Corporation and Olectra Greentech had shining single-day successes with increases between an impressive range of 0.80% and 1.42%, in good company with every other company getting into the act.

      A number of stocks have closed in the red including HEG -1.41% to ₹511.30 and Tata Motors -1.17% to ₹390.85. Amara Raja Energy & Mobility, Exide Industries, Hero MotoCorp and Sona Comstar all saw small losses, each less than 1%, which indicates limited downward pressure.

      In general, the session showed a predominantly positive trend, with 11 of the 16 listed stocks finishing higher. The performance highlights increasing investor interest in India’s EV and auto component sector, supported by robust domestic demand, government incentives, and advancements in electric mobility. Analysts observe that although specific large-cap stocks experienced minor drops, the overall sector trend remains positive, indicating ongoing backing for firms spearheading India’s shift to clean, advanced transportation technology.
