iGowise has announced a strategic partnership with Patnaik Energy Group, an Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) company that provides portable energy solutions, to introduce a line of portable power banks for EVs. This collaboration will provide on-demand, emergency power banks to support electric vehicles (EVs), including two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and small electric cars, drones operating in remote areas, electric farm equipment, and wilderness lighting solutions. The portable power banks will offer quick access to charging solutions for EV users in strategic urban locations like high-rise residential buildings and commercial zones in Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The partnership aims to deploy 5,000 power banks within 24 months at common charging facilities.

The new initiative will offer a mix of lease-based and pay-per-use models, creating an innovative “Energy as a Service” solution. These power banks for EVs are designed for urban dwellers in high-rise buildings, last-mile riders, and remote locations lacking consistent access to electricity. Additionally, these units will be available for deployment in areas where traditional charging infrastructure is unavailable or underdeveloped, such as remote research locations, campsites, and drone management companies. Users can access the EV power bank service through their mobile apps, and the company also has a scan-and-use facility in the charging areas where these portable power banks will be deployed.

The power banks for EVs will feature cutting-edge technology, including AIS-156 compliance, stability-enhancing lithium iron phosphate (LFP), lithium manganese iron phosphate (LMFP), and lithium titanium oxide (LTO) chemistries. They will also include AI-powered battery management systems (BMS), advanced cooling, and ventilation systems to ensure safe, stable, and efficient charging. The idea is to let users plug into these power banks like they would do for any other appliance in their homes. Moreover, brand-specific partnerships will allow fast DC charging for EVs. These compact power banks will wheels and thus can be mounted and deployed at any location via an iGo electric trike or any 3-wheeler.

This collaboration between the iGowise and Patnaik Energy Group marks a significant step toward redefining the idea of how energy can be accessed and utilized. By combining cutting-edge battery technology with a robust delivery network, the partnership is setting a new benchmark for mobile, flexible, and user-centric energy solutions. The service will initially focus on the domestic market, with plans to expand into international markets soon. Combining Patnaik Energy Group’s vision to make energy easily accessible with a robust delivery network powered by iGO’s electric trikes, the initiative will work toward establishing strategic partnerships with major EV OEMs, 3PL brands, and last-mile operators both within India and abroad to enable fast and portable charging solutions.
