The heavy-duty electric pickup trike, BeiGo, from iGowise Mobility (iGo), is set to make its debut in the eCommerce and logistics industries. The launch, scheduled for Diwali, is part of iGo’s efforts to meet the rising need in India’s rapidly expanding quick commerce industry for sustainable, last-mile delivery options. Over the course of the next 18 months, the company intends to roll out 6,000 BeiGo trikes in collaboration with significant eCommerce companies including BBNow, Flipkart Minutes, and Swiggy Instamart.

The BeiGo trikes will be used in a rider-to-owner arrangement. They are specifically made for last-mile, high-load deliveries. In partnership with sustainable vehicle financier EvateTech, this program seeks to increase the accessibility of the shift to electric vehicles for logistics professionals by providing cost-effective financing solutions. With the revolutionary pricing models that iGo is providing, such as Vehicle as a Service (VaaS) and Battery as a Service (BaaS), consumers can rent trikes for as little as INR 100 for up to 40 kilometers and incur no upfront fees. Furthermore, regardless of credit history, consumers will be able to subscribe to battery services starting at INR 1 per kilometer under the BaaS model.

Sravan Kumar Appana, co-founder and CEO of iGo, noted that BeiGo might have a big influence on the logistics industry, saying that last-mile operations account for 50% of logistical expenses at the moment. With BeiGo, we hope to give delivery riders an affordable, high-capacity option that lessens their physical strain while also enabling them to make up to INR 40,000 per month thanks to our various pricing options.
