iGoWise Mobility (iGo), India’s first smart electric trike manufacturer, has raised ₹8.2 crore in pre-seed and bridge funding from ISB Angels, 888VC, and Guptaji VC. With this fresh capital, the startup aims to accelerate its mission of transforming urban mobility with innovative light-EVs that are safe, affordable, and built on indigenous technology.

The funding will fuel tooling and automation to cut production costs, expand customer experience and after-sales channels, drive further R&D and product variants, and strengthen working capital to meet a growing order pipeline.

      iGo’s Patented Smart Trike Technology

Founded on 100% in-house R&D with 12 patents, iGo has developed the BeiGo Rugged Utility Vehicle, its first commercial trike, set to launch within 32 months of inception. Built on the company’s proprietary TwiiGo lightEV automobile platform, the trike introduces several industry-first features, including:

      • Patented anti-topple swiveling mechanism with an on-demand self-balancing system

      • 5X cost-efficiency, 3X energy efficiency, and 2X compactness compared to global peers

      • Smooth performance across potholes and steep slopes

      • Triple-disc anti-skid CBS braking for superior road grip and safety

Riders upgrading to an iGo trike can save significantly on fuel costs while increasing their monthly income potential by up to ₹7,500 – making it a compelling solution for gig workers, delivery partners, and small business owners.

Expansion Plans Across Key Indian Cities

With over 1,00,000 km of real-world testing data across diverse terrains, iGo plans to deploy its first 1,500 trikes over the next 12–18 months in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, and Panjim. The company has already partnered with fleet operators including Hala Mobility and Elektric Express for early adoption.

Investor Confidence in Scalable, Impact-Driven Mobility

Speaking on the investment, Ravi Teja Guptaji, Founder of Guptaji VC & GREAT (Global REbuild Accelerator Technology), said:

“iGo’s patented anti-topple technology is the only solution to India’s terrible traffic and parking challenges. For narrow, congested urban lanes, a slim and stable leaning trike is the most practical mobility solution. iGo represents a capital-efficient, deeply innovative, and impact-driven startup, and we are doubling down with a planned $2 million seed round in 2026.”

Building India’s Future of Urban Mobility

Sravan K Appana, Founder & CEO of iGo, emphasized the company’s vision:

“Our journey has always been about redefining mobility with better safety, comfort, and accessibility – all achieved with less capital, less time to market, and less import dependence. By focusing on frugal innovation, agile engineering, and an indigenous supply chain, we’ve proven that India can build world-class EVs with real economic and social impact.”

As India moves rapidly toward sustainable and smart mobility, iGo is positioning itself at the forefront of the light-EV revolution, combining deep-tech innovation with affordability and scalability. Its unique leaning trike platform could redefine last-mile transportation not only in India but also across global urban markets.
